It was obvious to Cameron that Cordelia needed better night security around here. He was constantly on the move a, checking things out and b, because most all her guards were sleeping on the job. Just any one could walk in. This was a disgrace. He at least understood why she was so angry all the time. No one could do anything right. When he bought his suit he made sure to get colors that blended well in the dark. He didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb. When he walked the perimeter he made sure to stick to the shadows. Cordelia would be safe he'd make sure of that. As he rounded the corner he was sort of surprised at what he saw.
He glanced down at his watch to see what time it was. Just a little after 3am. Way to late for casual visitors. And what was that he saw? A gun in the mans right hand. He shook his head some and quietly followed him into the house. He knew it like the back of his hand now. The boy stood no chance. He followed him into the kitchen and put him in a hold. Of course he struggled and was putting up on hell of a fight. "You idiot let go .. I'm her brother" But that didn't stop Cameron from keeping his hold on him. "She never mentioned a brother so how do I know you aren't lying?" Anthony kept up his struggle. "If you don't let go I'll have your head for this .. you're man you hear me?" In the midst of his struggle his gun went off, the bullet hitting the ceiling.

Cordelia was in bed, not quite asleep, but in bed. Frankly, she was thinking about her damn idiot brother. He hadn't been around as much lately, and she really couldn't help but think about what he was doing. New security was in place at all the warehouses, the shipping schedules changed, if he was still trying to fuck himself over with drugs, she would know the second he tried to lift it from their stores. Still, they weren't the only place in town someone could pick up a hit of heroin. This thought, among about a million others, made sleep a pretty rare occurrence for her lately. Anyone who saw the nice house, the designer clothes, the dedicated (if not somewhat terrified staff), and thought she had it easy was wrong as fuck. It was a 24-7 job, it was thankthless, and it was tough as hell. Add to that normal, or maybe not so normal, family dynamics and dramas, and it really was a wonder she was able to sleep at all. She got up from her bed, stretching and walking towards the window. Mostly to open it, maybe some fresh air would feel nice, help her relax... and maybe a tiny part to see if she could spot her newest employee. He was prone to wandering around outside at night, well, all the time really, and she'd spotted him a few times skulking around. It was nice to know someone at least took the job seriously... and that he looked pretty good in the nicely cut suit was a bonus that she really would rather not admit.
As she looked outside, a small smile flit across her face when she spotted Anthony coming through the gates. Well, that was one answer at least. Her smile dropped. The little shit. Making her worry. What? He was too busy to stop by and visit his sister at a reasonable hour? She walked away from the window and flung a short robe on over her t-shirt and went down stairs. She was a few steps down the stairs when she heard a scuffle and then a gunshot. “ Shit” she cursed, taking the last few steps at a run and skidding slightly into the kitchen in her socked feet. She stood at the entrance, a little shocked as she watched her new body guard struggling to hold onto her brother. She blinked for a moment before she walked fully into the room. “ What the fuck is going on in here? ” she snapped, walking over and giving Cameron a light whack on the head. “ Settle down soldier boy, it's my brother” she said, before giving Anthony a little smile followed by a light whack against his head. “ And you, what? You can't come over at a normal hour? Huh? Meet the new bodyguard... pretty efficient, isn't he?”

By the time Cordelia got to the kitchen Cameron had a pretty good handle on Anthony. Then Cordelia's words were ringing in Cameron's ears. Great the little shit woke her up. He'd probably hear about that later. Then he felt her light whack on the back of his head. He didn't much appreciate that really but he supposed it could be worse. She was telling him that this boy was her brother. Now that he thought about it he could see a family resemblance. Maybe even hear it in their attitudes. He let go of Anthony and she was no sooner hitting his head too. Cameron couldn't help but let out a little smile when she said he was pretty efficient. That meant she was happy with him so far. But Anthony wasn't really amused in fact he was still pretty pissed.
So instead of letting it go he pointed his gun at Cameron. "Let's see how efficient he is six feet under" Cameron how ever didn't seem phased by Anthony and his gun. Well at least Cordelia could experience first hand just how good he was. He swiftly took Anthony's gun from him and then gave him a quick punch to the face. Then he let the mag fall from the bottom of the gun, as he disassembled the rest of it. Also letting those pieced fall to the floor. "If it's ok .. Ma'am .. I'll be going back to my job now" He didn't even acknowledge Anthony or what he'd just done. His eyes stayed on Cordelia waiting for her to give him the ok. Anthony however felt like his brains had just been scrambled. So maybe this guy wasn't so bad for protecting his sister after all. He at least knew she was safe.

Cordelia should really have been prepared for Anthony's reaction, she knew her brother better than most people, and he wasn't one to take something like that calmly, must run in the family or something. The gun was aimed at Cameron's head, and she had just enough time to think crap, and he seemed like he's be a good one when the gun was out of Anthony's hands and was punching him in the face seemingly while dissasembling the gun. Cordelia blinked looking between her brother and Cameron before letting out a little laugh. She crouched and swipped up the Mag, tossing it to Anthony with a small smile on her face. “ Don't threaten my staff, apparently it won't turn out so well for you.” she said with a nod, seemed like the new guy was worth his weight in gold.
She turned to look at said new guy. Cameron was just looking at her, waiting. “ Jesus, don't you fucking sleep? Its 3 am. Just sit the fuck down. Both of you. ” she said, walking towards the espresso machine. If the guy was going to be awake all night, at the very least he could have some coffee. “ have you eaten yet Anthony? What are you doing here? She said, getting the coffee started and going to the fridge, pulling out dinner's leftovers. Cameron was just kinda getting swept up in the taking care of Anthony mindset.

Cordelia was right, Cameron didn't like being threatened. If he could help it, it would never turn out good for the other party. But showing off for Cordelia never hurt either. Anthony on the other hand wasn't entirely pleased. But he didn't work for Anthony he worked for Cordelia. Then she was looking at him. Asking him if he ever slept. He was trained to sleep while not really sleeping. He could go for weeks without really laying down to sleep and still be at his best. That's the beauty of being better than just a marine. "I don't sleep until you tell me I can. Someone needs to protect you at all times right? If everyone sleeps at the same time who's to stop someone from killing you in your sleep. With the way most of these people sleep around here it wouldn't be very hard ma'am" He sat down like she told him to. He hadn't seen her like this yet, almost like she actually cared about something under her tough exterior.
Anthony picked up the rest of the pieces to his gun and put them on the table. The only thing that kept him from really killing Cameron was that he might just actaully be able to pull off protecting his sister and he wanted her to be safe. Anthony hadn't really eaten in days. His appetite just wasn't there. Not after giving up his drugs. "I'd much rather not discuss business in front of our employees." He completely disregarded her question about food again. Mostly he didn't want to discuss anything in front of her employees. He wasn't comfortable with it. It was hard to let people in. He took off his jacket, he was wearing a grey tank top. Parts of a scar on his back was visible. It was his reminder the Irish were always there. And that his fight wasn't with all of them. It was with Jacob. And pretty much everyone who'd tortured him. Cameron took note of most everything and stood up. "I can take a hint. I'm gonna make myself scarce. If you need anything just say the word" His eyes looked Cordelia over some then he moved out of the kitchen to leave her with Anthony.

Cordelia frowned a little, more out of confusion than anger. He didn't sleep unless someone told him he could? Jesus, she thought she was uptight, this guy needed to loosen the hell up. If Cordelia Price thought someone needed to loosen up, then they had to have a huge stick up the ass. She shook her head a little as she started putting food out on a plate for Anthony. “ You don't sleep unless I tell you? That's fucking crazy, you do know that don't you? If you're freaking tired, just go to sleep. I mean come on[/color}” she finished in a bit of a mumble. She plunked the plate down in front of Anthony, rolling her eyes. “ Huh, funny. So far this employee has been a little more trustworthy that some other people. Namely you.” she said, shoving the plate at him, despite the fact that he hadn't responded about the food. Maybe she was still a little sore about the lying and the drugs.
She went back to the counter and filled a small cup with espresso and handed it to Cameron. “ I'd like to say he wasn't normally such a dick... but hey, I love him anyways. Go, do whatever it is you do when you're skulking around this joint, and for fucks sake, go to sleep if you want too.” she said, dismissing Cameron before rounding on Anthony. “ Alright, what the hell is up. You don't come round for ages, then sneak in at 3am to get in a fight with my bodyguard? Jesus Tony... and you look fucking gaunt. Eat something.” she said, pouring herself a cup of coffee and sitting across from him.

Anthony watched Cordelia give her bodyguard something to drink and then as he walked off to do what ever it was he did when he wasn't attacking the people who paid him. Then his eyes were back on Cordelia. She was awful cranky. Which he didn't understand. She had everything the way she wanted it now, and he wasn't even high. Maybe she seemed more cranky than usual cause he wasn't high. If she felt that way then maybe she'd rather have whats his face for a brother. He'd done what she'd asked of him and stopped using, the heroin any ways. Hard as it was he still gave her what she wanted because she was his sister. But instead of a face that said he was sorry he shot her a glare. "Fuck you Cordelia. Right there is why I didn't tell you. You'll never let it go." He was already pissed off about how things were around the warehouse.
He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a wad of cash, mostly one hundred dollar bills and put it on the table in front of her. "Your place was closer than mine or the warehouses. Besides I'd figure you'd want it. I had to twist an arm but I got it cause Vince owed it to you. I've been working, that's why I haven't been around" And when he said twist an arm he meant literally, nearly broke it but he got the job done and she didn't even appreciate it. That sort of pissed him off amongst other things she had done. "Oh hey guess what, I went to the warehouse the other day to pick up some .. missing figures ... And I was escorted through the whole damn place. In our own warehouse Cordelia. What the hell is going on? I make a mistake and suddenly I need someone to walk me through my own warehouse? Makes you look kinda like a bitch don't you think?" He was pissed off at her probably just as much as she was with him. "If soldier boy out there is more trust worthy than me then maybe he should be your brother" His dark blue eyes looked to hers and his were reading anger, and possibly some hurt.

Cordelia narrowed her eyes at Anthony. There were few people in this world that could get away with telling her to Fuck off. Just because Anthony was one of them didn't mean she took it lightly. She delivered the second smack upside the head of the night. “ I never let it go? I never fucking let it go? Are you shitting me? You lied to me Anthony. You lied to me while you were fucking actively killing yourself on shit we sell to idiots on the street who don't fucking know any better! You think a couple of weeks and some puppy dog eyes are just going to make me forget that? Huh? Of course I'm not letting it go you little shit. I care about you too damn much to let it go. If you don't like it, then don't make fucking stupid decisions.” she snapped at him. Grumbling under her breath, she sat across from him, pulling her legs onto the kitchen chair and yanking the t-shirt she slept in over her knees. “ Jesus H. Christ, I thought you were smarter than that.” she muttered under her breath.
She ignored the wad of cash he through on the table, blue eyes still narrowed in a glare as he continued to rant. “ Oh, shocking, you think that was about you? Get your head out of your ass Anthony, there are bigger things going on here than you and the bad habit you decided to pick up. You think I would put that kind of security in place for you? No, you may not be doing much to inspire blind faith right now, but I don't really have time or the inclination to hire a completely new staff for your benefit. Maybe if you fucking paid attention to the business side of things here, you'd know what was going on. But you don't. That's my fucking job, isn't it? You keep bringing in these little payouts, and leave keeping the big wheels running smoothly to me. Because in case you didn't notice, there is a hell of a lot more going on around here than just you. ” she snapped. She slammed her hand down on the table at his last words, meeting his eyes. “ Grow the hell up Anthony, you aren't a kid anymore. Right now, I'm acting like the damn adult here, and you're the one who seems to be acting like a little bitch.” she yelled “ You listen to me, you don't get to act like the god damn victim here. You Betrayed my trust, not the other fucking way around. Security needs to be tightened, so I'm tightening it. You'd know that if you bothered to show up every fucking once in awhile. But know, you show up here in the dead of night, get into a pissin match with my body guard, and then give me attitude. Put your big boy pants on and act like the adult you are, or just get the hell out.” It was pretty safe to say she was on the cranky side.
