Felix De Luca
28 – Italian mob – play by: Ian Somerhalder[/center]
Cordelia has only really ever been close to a few people. Her younger brothers, and arguably, her one friend, Felix. Marco De Luca was one of Anthony Sr. top advisors and best friends, a man he trusted with his life. The De Luca family is as ingrained in the Price organization as could possibly be. Though the Price name is the family in control, the De Luca’s have always been one of the right hands. The cops would kill to get info on any number of Del Luca’s, as much as the Prices. With the families being so close, it really was no surprise that the two oldest children, Cordelia and Felix, were attached at the hip.
They grew up together, and he’s always been there to both protect Cordelia and on occasion protect people from her, really, the only people who know her moods better than him are her brothers. It was largely in part to his help (and his family’s) that she was able to maintain control of the Price empire after her father was murdered. When the De Luca’s could have wrenched control over the business for themselves, they instead stood behind Cordelia and helped her keep power and order. Since she took over at 15, Felix has been right there. There aren’t many decisions made that he isn’t involved in, and thirteen years later, he is largely considered top dog, only behind Cordelia, Anthony and Jason (the Prices come first, obviously).
The one big secret between them is his younger brother. The kid never had much of a taste for the business and was reluctant at the best of times. 4 years ago, Cordelia caught wind that he’d been talking to the DA, was planning on turning states evidence that would have her, Anthony , Felix, and a large number of their ranks seeing the inside of a jail cell. She did the only thing a self respecting Mob Boss could do. She had him killed. She never told Felix, not about his brothers planned betrayal, not that she was behind his death. To this day, Felix blames the Connors, and Cordelia isn’t going to tell him otherwise.
Personality wise, he’s cunning, wicked smart and not a good dude to be on the bad side of. He’s more reasonable than Cordelia is though, more likely to listen to people before reacting. He is often her voice of reason. Those are only the really important bits…. I have no specific plots in mind with him, just would be fun. And while I’ve said Ian Somerhalder, that’s just because it’s who I pictured him as, the PB isn’t set in stone.
